VLC media player مشغل ملتميديا على درجة عالية قادر على قراءة معظم صيغ الصوت والفيديو (MPEG-2

(Audio CDs VCDs) ، ومختلف بروتوكولات التدفق. كما يمكن استخدامه كمحول ملتميديا أو سرفر للارسال
في IPv4 أو IPv6 على الشبكات



VLC can play:

* From satellite cards (DVB-S)
* Several types of network streams: UDP/RTP Unicast, UDP/RTP
Multicast, HTTP, RTSP, MMS, etc.
* From acquisition or encoding cards (on GNU/Linux and Windows only)
